You should be arriving from Lisa's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.
Here is what I created for the hop:
Lets face it, with a house full of teenagers, every party turns into a movie party so why not start out right?
To create a Movie Birthday Party start with the Sweet Shop Kit at SVG Attics.
This is a Valentine kit but it is perfect for creating a birthday party.
I started with the banner. It was really easy. I simply used an Arial font to create my own letters and then used the pennant. Delete the hearts and add some basic stars in different sizes with foam pot dots.
What could be easier?
The Cupcake box works into a perfect concessions treat box.
Once again, omit the hearts. To create the window, I used plastic from a bakery box and taped it to the inside. It makes a clear window to peak in but sturdy enough the candy doesn't poke through.
Next up are the treat buckets. They are a large size and perfect for filling with popcorn or other treats. To finish them off, add some ribbon and a ticket with a star.
Make lots of these, you will want to fill them up with all kinds of goodies!
At the best parties, everyone takes home a little favor. They can be filled with candy, treats or even a thank you note.
Use the plain truffle box in different sizes. Tie the ends with some pretty ribbon and for the finishing touch add another star or two.
Now is the time to get the Sweet Shop Party Kit because there is a big sale happening now at SVG Attic!
Don't miss out and make your movie birthday party the best it has ever been!
