A year and a half ago, I had a great opportunity to attend a Cricut-Make-a thon where the Cricut Maker was introduced.
I enjoyed it so much and learned a ton, however probably my favorite thing was seeing the beautiful flower arrangement made by the ultra talented Lia Griffith.
When I learned that she had created almost all of her arrangements with a CricutMaker, I just knew it was something I had to find out more about.
I came home and immediately bought her book and some crepe paper.
The book comes with templates and a link for all the flowers in SVG!
As I played around with it, I fell in love with crepe paper flowers.
The crepe is so easy to cut using a Cricut Maker and rotary blade!
Once the petals and leaves are cut, follow her instructions and assemble with a cool melt glue gun.
Once you get the hang of it, these flowers are not overly difficult and with a little practice, you to can make beautiful, almost life like flowers too.
Don't have a Cricut Maker?
You can still cut the svg file from any digital machine and use it as a template to cut the crepe paper with scissors.
No matter how you cut out your roses, you will love how they turn out.
Be sure to check back soon as I will have some tutorials and classes available.
