S'More Treat Box

Today I have some very exciting news!
I have been asked to be on the Guest Design Team for
I am very excited for this opportunity and to share my love of paper crafts with all of my friends.

Jodi and the rest of the designers have some of the greatest files out in SVG land and I can't wait to share all of the wonderful projects with you.

To kick off the celebration I created this fun Halloween treat box.

I am all about taking one design and changing it up to use for something else.
This box actually came from the S'more fun kit and is the S'more box.

JGW Smore Fun

The box is cut out of two pieces of 12 x 12 paper.  I fell in love with this Doodle Bug paper but the store only had one sheet left.
To get the look I wanted, I first cut the box out of black cardstock and then created inserts or panels for the sides, back and top,  (the front panel is included in the file), and cut them from the printed paper.

I used a piece of clear transparency film (found anywhere office supplies are sold) to make the "window"

The spider web and spiders were made using the What's Brewin'? kit.

What's Brewin'?

These spiders are just to cute and not a bit scary-AND they work with the Doodle Bug paper perfectly!
To finish off the box, fill it with some of your favorite Halloween Candy and tie it with a ribbon.
It makes a great gift for a neighbor, friend or someone who can't get out to Trick or Treat this time around!

I hope you will visit me at SVG Attic and then come back here to my blog to find all kinds of Halloween projects and fun!

  1. I was wondering what box you used because I didn't recognize it at first! Great way to combine those files into something new and fresh. I can't wait to see what you create and am excited to be on the SVG Attic team with you :)
