Summer Day Dreams

Planning a summer party?
Today's design team project for Heartfelt Hobby and Craft might just be exactly what your are looking for!

For any party you need to have some cards for invites or to place on gifts.

The first card is made using one of the journal tags.
Journal tags are a great way to add sentiment.
Use an embossing folder to give the background paper some depth, it really adds to the look of the card.

The second card uses paper scraps and a sticker.  What a great way to say hello.  This would make a perfect invitation to the party or use it as a greeting to someone out of town.

Have you tried using a transparency in your cards?
This is a new, fun technique that adds a little creativity to your cards.  The F*U*N stickers are placed inside the card but with the transparency you still see them when the card is closed.

Every party needs some decorations and this Ball Garland is the perfect thing.
The instructions can be found here.
A great way to use up your scrap papers and its so easy to do, the kids can help you.

This paper camera from My Scrap Chick makes a great table decoration or favor.
Its a two part box so you can fill it with candy or a small gift.
Use it for a prize for a game... the possibilities are endless and it is oh so cute!!!

This fun little 3 fold library pocket mini album is perfect for placing keepsakes from the party or any activity in.

There are lots of places for photos, tickets and memories.

Use the journal tags and stickers to create fun tags and place in the three pockets.
The instructions can be found here.

Finally, don't forget to record the memories from the party on a fun and bright scrapbook layout!

Try a few of these projects and enjoy your summer party!
