Summer Layout and a Kit Update

What a week this has been.  I am so glad it is Friday, how about you?  Do you have fun plans for the weekend?  Did you plan some time for crafting?  To get those creative juices flowing, I thought I would share a layout I did a few weeks ago.

The paper is from Cosmo Cricket.

The tags were made using stamps from Stampin' Up and then sprayed with Walnut ink from Ranger.
Stamped letters were Close to My Heart and the large letters were cut using my Silhouette. To finish it up I added some paper clips, staples and a little stirng.   This was a fun layout to do.

Kit Update:
First let me say "WOW" every month you wonderful Ladies suprise me with all the kits you want and this month was the same.  I am now taking second orders on the Lucky kits but I have a very limited supply so if you want them let me know NOW.

Also watch next week for new Easter kits.  I think you are going to like what I have in store.

Have a great weekend and find some time to do a project or two!

Sewing Project

Last weekend, my mom, my daughter and my sisters and I got together and made these cute purses.  They were so much fun to do I thought I would share them with you.

The Pattern (click here) calls for 4 different fabrics.  I used Pink and Browns.

They were pretty easy to do.  Everything was cut with a rotarty wheel and we had 4 machines set up so it went pretty fast.

I had to leave a little early but here are photos of the three purses that got done.  (notice how we are "working" it?)

Mom we just need yours now.

We had so much fun and it was a great way to spend a Saturday!

Lets be Sisters Forever and Project 12

Silly me.  I just realized, a couple of post back I was going to do a layout and then never did.  So here it is.

I only had a little time and I wanted to do something with these three photos.  I used a page map sketch and scraps of paper.  Tied some string through a few buttons and wahla! A cute and simple layout in no time at all. (oh and did you know, page maps has a super cute digital kit that is totaly free?  You have to check it out.)

For all of you who are following along with Project 12,  here is the new February Sketch.

I just sent off my photos for January and will post my layout when I have it finished.  If you want to share, send me yours and I will post it also.

Have a great Monday!

February Calendars

Here they are, Calendars for the month of February.  They are so cute, I really had a hard time picking one this month.

The first one is from Bo Bunny

This one is from Scrapbook Dimensions.  (They have moved so be sure to bookmark this new link)

The last one is from Shabby Princess.  In honor of my daughter's birthday I used her photos but it would have worked great with a photo of my sweet hubby also.  (Maybe after her birthday.

So what calendar is your favorite?

PS. All Valentine and Winter kits have been delievered, I only have a couple of the Hugs and Kisses and Crazy about your love left.  Check back the end of the week for some fun St. Patrick Day Kits.
