Digital Mini Album

Do you remember this free kit I blogged about a while ago?

Well I did up a cute little Mini Album with it. and I love it!
Here are a few of the pages.

I did 20 pages.  I used the Image/Rotate tool to mirror pages and place them side by side.

(That's sparkling cider on New Years eve daughter is holding)

I added my own text printed them finished pages out as 4x6.  I used my ATG gun to adhere each layout to a 4x6 piece of chipboard (left over from other projects or you can pick some up at most paper stores.)  I punched two holes in each layout and hooked them together with two book rings.  To finish it off, I added a charm that says families.

I love how it turned out.  It was so easy and because the kit was free the only cost was printing out the layouts ($3 @ walmart.)

If you want this kit click here.  Lets see what you can do with it.

Project 12-getting caught up

So how many of you are doing the Project 12?  I really am trying too.  Its just with summer and vacations and kids and... well you know the story.  I have lots of photos just not lots of time.  Today I made a goal to get at least three layouts done and get photos printed for all the layouts so far.

If you are running behind, or not even sure what Project 12 is, lets review.  Each month
Scrapbook & Cards Today (an online Magazine and a place for great inspiration) feature a sketch by Becky Fish form Page Maps.  You use one layout each month to highlight that months happenings.  (it can be one thing or many.) at the end of the have a completed album.

Here are the layouts for each month so far...

So now here is my challenge to you.  Find some time this week (I know it is so hard but you can do it!) Gather up a few off your favorite photos from each month.  Print of the sketches and do a layout or two.  (you can even mix the sketches up if you want-whatever works best for you.)

I am taking the challenge and I will post the results.  Now lets hear from you.  What are you doing with your layouts?

July Calendars

I am back.  We had a great time in San Diego and over the fourth, now its time to get busy again.

I realize I missed Junes Calendars.  (I am still trying to convince myself July is here!)  I am sorry I missed them but hopefully you were able to find them on your own this time.

Here are the three July Calendars I found.  I hope you love 'em.  Its so hard to choose...

This first one is what is being offered at Scrapbook Dimensions

This one, my almost favorite is from Bo Bunny. (I love the circles!!!)

Shabby Princess is the one I will be using this month. I just love all the stitching and embellishments.

Have you checked out Page Maps this month?  So cute; here is my favorite, all though I love them all.

I can't wait to get stared doing my trip photos!

For those of you who are wondering, I am now taking orders for the Patriotic Kits again (its not too late, you can do them for next year).  And this is the last call for Garden kits.  I am headed of to Girls Camp next week so PLEASE  email me soon so I can get them done before I leave.

Hope you have a great week!
