Valentine Projects

I told you I would post some projects of things I have been working on in the past. (while I was M.I.A. :) )

For Valentine's 2013 I was asked to put some projects together using Authentique's Valentine line. I don't know if you can find the paper but at least you will have some ideas for projects.  You can even change them up and use it for almost any holiday.

A page layout (love the way this turned out)

A candy/treat box

 Mini album/ banner

Check out the video that explains how I made all of these projects.

Just an FYI, I do know how to pernounce the name of the company, I just messed it up on video while everyone was watching... isn't that how it always goes?

Selection Tool Tutorial for Silhouette Studio

I have decided it might be useful to go back to the beginning and make some tutorials explaining some of the basic tools in Silhouette Studio; and what is more basic than the selection tool?

Here is a video explaining the selection tool and how to use it.  I hope this helps.

If you have a question you would like answered or a tutorial you would like to see, let me know.

Easter Bunny Tutorial

Don't you just love Easter?  I do.  Spring, warm weather, chocolate.  It is a great time of the year.

This cute little bunny was one I found using paper punches, however I don't own the oval punch.  I decided it would be just as easy to make it with my Cameo using Silhouette Studio.

Here is a video to show you how easy it is.

Once the bunny was cut out and assembles, I cut a shopping bag from the Silhouette Store. (Make it as big as you need, I think I scaled mine to about 11" tall with the lock aspect ration checked.)  Or you could also use him for the front of a card.  He would even make a cute little baby gift card or announcement.

I hope you will try this and then let me know how it goes.

Hello!!!

Hello everyone out there in blog land!  I know it has been way to long since I have blogged but I am still here and I am back!

Just to let you know that I haven't forgotten you, let me explain my long lost absence.  About 16 months ago I decided it was time I went back to school.  College that is!  I was going full time at the local community college in Graphic Design.  Last week I finished!!!   Not only have I been going to school but in the last year or so we have had 2 weddings, 2 home remodels (unfortunately not ours, but our married daughters), a high school graduation, 1 child leave on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and another head off to college. To top that all off I am still working (and loving my job) at Heartfelt Hobby and Craft. It has just been crazy to say the least!

At this time, I am no longer offering wood kits, but I would love to show you some of the things I have been working on.  I hope to get back into the wood business but that is still on the back burner for a bit.

In the mean time, be sure to check back as I will be posting lots of new ideas, projects and maybe even some kits.

Leave a comment and let me know what you would like to see.
