Odds and Ends

So for the most part, Super Saturdays are over, I have two left in November but that's all.

I am working on a couple of Fall kits.  I am also working on some new Christmas Projects and re-vamping some older kits so be sure to check back soon.

In the mean time here are a few Fabric Projects I have been working on  the last few months with my daughters, sisters etc.

D3 wanted to make a Rag Quilt for a Personal Progress Project. I decided to do one with her, mine is a Christmas quilt.  These are really easy to do, but your hands do get tired with all the cutting involved.  So worth it, I love the way they turned out.

In September D1, my mom, sister and sister in law got together  in Midway and made these adorable aprons.
Once again mine was a Christmas Apron (what can I say- I am a junkie!!)

This was D1's first sewing project.  She did great.

The finished projects.  It was a great way to spend a weekend!

Before we went on vacation I made a cinch bag for D5

I loved the way it turned out so I made 6 more. (they really went together fast!)

and last but certainly not least, I decided to try my hand at a little crocheting. (something I have not done before.)  Here are some little Dish clothes that were a lot of fun to make.

With Christmas just less than two months away (yes I said it, two months); I think it is time to get the sewing machine out again and see what other projects we can come up with.

What have you been working on?  Lets see!

  1. I absolutely LOVE the Christmas Quilt... someday I am going to have to learn how to sew!
